Cantex’s narrow veins deposit

There were drill intercepts that returned variable grades with some returned zero hits. The narrow widths deposit is hosted by thin sheets of Zn/Pb/Ag ore. It appears recovery is uneconomic as stated by Management in its latest April 30th financial report.

To wit:

"...The grade of narrow vein deposits can be highly variable along strike and down dip. Some sections of the vein may contain high-grade ore shoots where concentrations are economically viable, while others may have lower grades or even barren zones.  Due to their challenges, these deposits often prove uneconomic to mine ...and are often left unmined. Open-pit mining generates significant waste and uneconomic strip ratios, while selective underground methods require costly infrastructure that quickly erode project returns."

Mr. Oregonduck,  Thank you,  I have now reviewed your post and consider it very misleading in fact and accuracy. You are stating your opinion on the "narrow vein theory". No where in the financial statements does Cantex state that the deposit is uneconomic or economic. That is only subject to future drilling results and the dissemention of the various and sundry compliant ...more

The message likely comes from someone with expertise in mining finance, regulatory compliance, and technical reporting, such as a mining analyst, investor relations specialist, securities lawyer, or mining engineer. Their knowledge of industry practices, legal requirements, and financial statement analysis allows them to address and clarify issues around disclosures and compliance, especially ...more

While your intentions are quite noble, I suggest you observe the rules written on the signs at the zoo. Don't feed the ducks. No good will come of it. Besides, he will be busy critiquing houses in my neighborhood. Although for whatever reason, he seems to have ample time to dig up postscripts from five years ago regarding observations made third hand by people who are no longer part of this ...more
