An experiment

I wanted to see today if someone is trying to hold the stock down and cause some fear, so everytime that 025 was hit, I punched in with a small order at .03.

The last 30 minutes was quite revealing. Every time that Jitney put it to .025, I responded with .03 and they went right back at it at .025. Jitney really wanted this stock to close on the low.

Here is what it looked like right at the end.

Time ET Ex Price Change Volume Buyer Seller Markers
15:59:27 V 0.03 5,000 2 RBC 2 RBC K
15:58:21 V 0.025 -0.005 12,000 85 Scotia 99 Jitney K
15:58:17 V 0.025 -0.005 7,000 85 Scotia 99 Jitney K
15:58:17 V 0.025 -0.005 8,000 7 TD Sec 99 Jitney K
15:58:17 V 0.025 -0.005 5,000 85 Scotia 99 Jitney K
15:57:34 V 0.03 5,000 2 RBC 2 RBC K
15:55:59 V 0.025 -0.005 10,000 85 Scotia 99 Jitney K
15:55:24 V 0.025 -0.005 20,000 2 RBC 2 RBC K
15:53:38 V 0.03 1,000 2 RBC 2 RBC K
15:52:13 V 0.025 -0.005 20,000 85 Scotia 99 Jitney K

My take is Jitney wants to create some fear or is short the stock, but they sure wanted a ,025 close and they sure wanted people to look at .025 all day long.

I would say we did this back and forth dance about 5 times.

your thoughts?

I have been seeing and commenting about 099's last minute dump game for months now. Even when it was in the .04 .045 they were playing the same game, some kind of a manipulation. They're the dirty hand of some schemer who's playing with this.My orders for .025 are getting filled.

I don't think I follow the logic of your experiment.  If there were other people wishing to buy at .03, their orders would be filled before any more .025 were filled.    As long as somebody is willing to sell at .025, and somebody is willing to buy at .025, the price will go back to .025 if nobody is offering higher.  All you have shown is that there are no other offers to ...more

No, you don't get it.   The price would sit without an order filled for hours and then a very small order at .025 was filled, then I would put it to three and then it would get filled with a small amount again. If I did not step in, then the price would stay at the low number without any shares traded.  If I did step in, then immediately the lower number was taken out again with ...more

....is this all important? I do not doubt CDO gets manipulated. If a microcap is in such poor price situation like CDOand if there are interested trader out there, either MMs or banks or heavy gambler or maybe even investors, it is alwqays the same that a microcaps is manipulated heavily. but, who care? This story has other problems but to be manipulated at this poor price level. As long as we are ...more

...if one reads details about GWR only, its news flow, its marketcap compared to CDO, its activities, its progress (anyway how fast)....one could cry by looking at CDO.

I picked up another 100,000 at .025 yesterday - this is Mineralfields' last big dump.  I would pick up more if I could. Trade4ever, keep looking at V.GWQ - CDO will begin to look the same over the next 6 months.

GUYS GUYS GUYS,99 is JITNEY.  These are computer traders that trade without human control.  They buy and sell1000 times a day on every stock.  they follow parameters and algorhythms and generally always flatten out the trade at days end....thats why right near close they will hit bit.   Thats all.  no conspiracy.
Comment by wildman2 on May 21, 2011 1:21am
Oh, that sounds possible actually, though why would they follow me by a minute every time.  The computer read my action and wanted to give it a contrasting action?  Hmmmm.  question though. why do they want to flatten out the trade at day's end.

If you want to keep selling shares to people at 3 cents, it helps if you can convince them that they can't be likely to buy at 2.5 cents. In other words, you don't want to demoralize buyers if you are a seller.
Comment by wildman2 on May 21, 2011 1:58pm
I know what I was doing at 3 cents.  I wanted to see what their motivation was to hit it down to 2 point 5 right after.  What is more telling is why they continually wanted people to see 2 point 5 cents. So while you say you don't want to demoralize buyers by suggesting they can't get the lower number,  the truth here is someone is motivated to want to demoralize buyers by ...more
