No one lining up to buy above $1.05

The market is always right...

Is the market always right?. You said "So residual value after the $0.40 dividend will be reduced to about $0.60 per share" (i.e. $0.40 + $0.60 = $1.00) but people are now buying at $1.30 so you are 30% wrong so far. If they continue to reject your pontifications, then the SP on Friday will be $0.90. We'll see.

Nozz, since your distribution is in the bag, I am willing to purchase all of your shares for $0.60 now. I want to save you the pain and agony of watching your share plunge. Whatcha say? You are long aren't you?

On Feb 2 nozzpack said "I sold near the top here and just about doubled my cost base of $0.70 per share" so I assume that he owns no POE shares now, so he keeps bashing without having any vested interest, meanwhile promoting VLE. What jigsaw pieces will reconcile these two disparate data?

No I added to my substantial position in Valeura.....can't go wrong buying $0.62 in cash for $0.45. But, I have a hoard of cash just waiting to buy POE stub on Friday in the $0.60-$0.70 range . I have great confidence in my due diligence and it could be a double bagger for me if Valeura is the Suitor here, which I think will be the case. You don't often get these double doubles each of ...more

nozzpack, I assume that if the SP today is $1.30 then it will be worth $0.90 on Friday. Although, there may be others like you who are trying to drive down the price because you want to pick up POE for a pittance. When the potential buyers' prices or actual sale of assets occurs (Feb? Mar?...), we will see whether the value is $0.60 or $0.90 or above... or whether the sale is cancelled. If ...more

You must face the fact that before the ROC of $0.40 was announced, the share price traded in the $0.90 to $1.05 range. $0.40 in cash is being removed from that asset pile now, so I can't see the share price trading at $0.90 for very long, particularly as some shareholders will dump the stub tommorow AM. I could be wrong  because as retail investors there are always things that we don ...more

For me, the ROC just emphasizes the determination of POE management. to focus on shareholder value. You say that VLE has cash and will focus on spending it... but who knows whether the choices VLE management makes will evaporate their cash and lead to little return. For POE, the cash is coming into my pocket... where I can wisely use it or waste it, but at least it is my decision. Therefore, I ...more
