The Cost of Oil Production from 2014 FP (Rystad Energy)

Comparison of Oil Sands (Sawn Lake), Deepwater (Valeura), Onshore (POE),... Costs may have improved or deteriorated but a comparison still gives insight.

Yes, thats why many are selling today, as the only cash being received is about $1.00 depending on CAD conversion. Ar $1.20, to break even, the CanAsia will need to trade abouve $0.10 which seems unlikely. Sell today and buy the CanAsaia Stub for perhaps 5 cents..

Are you suggesting 1) overthrowing CanAsia management by forcing a vote on a new set of directors (you, me and some other Stockhouse posters) or 2) forming a new company composed of disgruntled CanAsia shareholders and the new company would make a takeover offer or 3) ?. In the years that I have owned POE, a key parameter has been really slow reaction time.

The message i am really trying to convey is if Canasia, owner of Sawn Lake, trades at the same value as my Toronto detached home we will not be around for very long. As far as I am concerned we got Fvcked on L-53 and will likely be on Sawn as well. You and I are not the only people who can do our jobs. Ditto for oil co managers.
