Here is the answer I received a few moments ago from the CFO of Channel Resources:
Hello John,
Infact, we are not waiting for assay results - mineral content within theFox Creek brine was confirmed in late 2009. The brine is currentlyundergoing baseline process testing to establish a production-flowsheetupon which we can proceed with engineering, scoping and feasibilitystudies. This work has indeed taken longer than expected, and variousnew tests were ordered by Channel in followup (see our news release ofNovember 27, 2010). There are a number of extraction processes involvedin producing any or all of the minerals (including lithium, potash, bromine, borates, calcium etc) from the brine, and the correct order ofoperations and methodology must be established to arrive at the mostefficient operating design to minimize operating and capital costs asthe project approaches potential production.
All of this being said, the testing program is nearing completion and we expect to report on the results in the next few weeks.
Regards,
Cyrus Ameli
