Why would the CEO and President of RUEI take senior positions in Cielo, considering that RUEI has JV's with Cielo. Don Allan the CEO of Cielo announced that they are currently not going to consider additional JV's and that they would look to fund future plants themselves.  This is very bullish since this suggests that Cielo can raise substantial funds with attractive terms. Not sure if your question is rhetorical, but I'll bite. If I were going to head into this deep like he has, I would want inside access to all info I could get my hands on. He's a very successful businessman which to me gives a great comfort long term. I think it's a huge asset to both firms RUEI from what I gather is a separate group that's going to focus on the build aspect, well ...more

I also agree with this as a positive. They have a need to fill the bench with management, the addition has a vested interest. I don't see the downside.

This is not a positive development in my mind.  First off they are robbing from themselves.  Given that their destinies are tied, if these individuals are good, they'd have been better served leaving them in place to execute on the build out of the JVs.  You don't poach from your own bench.  I work for big oil and gas and as a prime contractor, will very rarely will ...more

RUEI was set up essentially as a financing entity, so I don't believe that the "poaching talent" carries much weight. You are underestimating Robins accomplishments. I'm assuming that Don Allan has substantial expertise in the company that he took 17 years to build.  He's likely looking for a competent person, that he can work well with and considering the incredible ...more
