Now dropped to the seventh most shorted stock.

That's well phrased.  This is one of the many major issues with consistently shorting.  The best a shorter can hope for is to make an average 10 to 20% on a trade (even that figure is being incredibly generous).  Everything could be going well for a shorter for a year or two. Then "bang", just one major short squeeze and the shorters career is over

Shorters hoping to drive the price down more, can squander their gains by being overly greedy...any news could drive a positive trade quickly into a loss...at times a major loss.

  I agree completely with this and I would like to add that if large institutional shorts like Melvin Capital and Citron Research can sustain heavy losses on companies like GameStop, then that doesn't bode well for the likes of penny-flipping troll-like shorters like gCrap playing the short game with a company like Cielo, which has explosive upside potential. I disagree Sam  Ive been shorting stocks for years and have been very successfull   Now with all these Reddit stocks its a shorts dream, believe me Im killing it

Yes I wish I did short  this stock when it went parabolic,would have been a great short. I wouldn't short it here though,not worth it. This stock has great potential hence the growing shares that ive bought.I'm buying on the dips. Any stock that goes parabolic on no news except a fund manager saying they own it and like it doesn't mean it reflects 1n a 300% or so rise. Its come

Hey Vitalina, There have always been a large number of stocks to potentially short. From the tech wreck in 2000, to the financial crisis 2010 to covid 2020 etc. etc.  In relation to the small cap stocks on the venture, mining companies;  mining for whatever and getting good initial drill results which leads to the four stages of the chart (potash, lithium, rare earth manias etc etc

wow  what a post    keep in mind ive been in this game  since 1978  ive been all over the map, hell i even met Murray Pezim i think he got me in BRE X.  I live for the market,it stessess the F@CK out of me but i love it. It looks like Vitalina and sam2100 may have different investment styles. In agreement about high risk;  50% risk to the downside 1000% potential to the upside, I'll take those odds all day. What Vitalina, Papi and sam2100 have in common is that they give substantially to the organizations that you mentioned in one of your previous posts. However, Fat B doesn't like giving any funds

I suspect a lot of warrant holders have been shorting. It's essentially risk free when you can cover at such a low price but hopefully the acceleration of the exercised warrants will get some shorts to close out the positions.

Shhhhhhhh, I want this to go down a bit further so I can buy some more. Found some change in my couch cushions on Thursday lol. TBH I'm really not worried if this goes up, down or turns into a rainbow trout before around the end of June. Anything before the JV kicks in is just noise and a chance to buy more on the dips. Only real risk is them having a problem with the full scale catalyst
