Cielo claimed their joint u of c desulphurization produced 5 ppm. My question is, does the fact that Cielos renewable diesel has a much lower freezing point than most other diesels, affect the desulphurization process?  Make it easier or harder, longer or shorter process?  I have a note to engineer friend.

Answer on desulphurization question from expert  The lower freezing point for renewable diesel is a huge advantage compared to biodiesel for sure. Desulphurization tech is well established, and I don't think Cielo's material will be any worse than others due to its freeze point properties (shouldn't matter). They might have more sulphur to remove from their diesel ...more
