It's time for gold to break out.  Meanwhile, Condor's share price languishes lower.  Condor SHOULD have a NR about the Chakana payment next week, but if they hold to form, they just won't say anything.  Regarding the payment, I don't think Chakana not paying is a bad thing although the market think it is.  It would be really negative if Condor grants Chakana ...more

The countdown is on US$4.25 mil cheq to Condor is due April 23 Chakana has $3.3 mil in the till They previously announced Soledad drilling resumption in April Interesting times indeed

So, Chakana needs to decide whether to develop Soledad or their other properties because $3.3Million won't allow much for both.  I have an order in to buy Condor at US$0.07 (about C$0.09) in case Condor grants Chakana more time and the share price craters.  I would much prefer that Condor repossess Soledad and find another buyer.

Maybe Goldfields would be interested. Better to buy it for 100% ownership, than give the money to Chakana and own 20%.

If Chakana cannot make a full payment, I see the following possibilities  (Condor controls which is selected):    1) Chakana makes a partial payment now and delays a final payment    2) Condor allows another delay of the payment with nothing paid now    3) Condor repossesses Soledad and finds another buyer   I prefer #3.  If Chakana ...more

I'll pick #1 Chakana is balls deep into the project having spent MANY MANY millions to date, plus they bot Condor's 1% NSR I'm sure Lyle wants the full amount but Chakana likes to wheel and deal and probably ain't crazy about doing a PP at $.18 i see $2.25 Mil on April 23 and $2.25 Mil in 9 months ($250k penalty for late payment)

I can see Condor allowing a 50% payment to hold the concession. Chakana can afford that with cash on hand now, but will have to raise money to continue drilling. If Chakana doesn't pay I can see Goldfields buying it from Condor directly. Better to own 100% than the 20% ownership they would get from giving the money to Chakana.
