Nice to see actual cores; extensive vuggy silica, breccia, high-sulphidation, silicifation .....

I also like that QH, unlike the market, is not concerned by the lack of info in the NR.

Question for the rocks hounds (field geos), if the new I-Phone 15 Pro features a camera with 5x digital zoom how powerful are the hand-held optical microscopes being used looking at the shattered core/rock chips coming out of the hole?

Watched it, QH seems positive, not sweating or shaking. Unless he's a good actor, or politician, I think things are good, and we'll all have to wait nervously, till sometime in January. GLTA!!!

Alot of longterm derisked shareholders trying to put a rosey spin on this.. not looking like a home run to me, . But maybe enough to maintain market cap and justify another drill program. Time will tell. GLTA

QH clarified that the 3 deep holes were drilled to try to find the porphyry.  These 3 holes will not have much significance if the porphyry was not found and the fact that they kept drilling more deep holes after the first would make me think that the porphyry was not hit.  But, it's only guessing on my part. Also, since they resumed drilling 200m holes after the deep holes may mean ...more

I think they have drilled enough holes to estimate the size and grades.  A resource estimate can be calculated now and probably has been if there are any NDA's in place with the majors.  I dont see another drill program and would assume we are already at resource calculations leading to buyout.  Only my thoughts but the nature of this deposit would only require a tota area ...more

Brianw21 you bring up an interesting point.  If CN has entered into a  NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with a third party that would justify withholding the 4 hole assays.  The question becomes does CN have an obligation to  shareholders to disclose this agreement. I believe they do, as this is a material event and CN has a fiduciary duty to disclose such.  If that is ...more

Just to clarify, if CN has entered into an NDA, I feel that should be disclosed but, not the terms of the NDA or the identity of the third party.
Comment by Brianw21 on Dec 24, 2023 7:13am
Non Disclosure Agreements becaue of their nature are an exception and do not have to be released as they are essentially the only instrument that lets somebody look under the hood at a time when the market doe not have firm information.  If you dont have one now then the majors, like everyone wait for assay results, then sign an NDA in terms of takeout or any kind of material investments ...more

After thinking further about this NDA scenario I don't think CN has entered into an NDA.  The NR stated they would not be releasing any assays until they have received results from all 9 holes and I would think that means to anybody.  I think if they were sitting on stellar assays they would be required to disclose the results to shareholders first due to legal requirements and ...more

The only "harm" I can see as I posted earlier would  potentially be to the safety of the crew and completion of the drill campaign. As investors new to this story may not know there was some heavy local opposition to the project (lucy and gang) which made it very difficult to get access to Pucamayo in the first place.  Releasing positive drill results could have brought heavy ...more

re: After reporting hole by hole updates for 5 holes and then no more updates and going from deep holes to 4 shallow holes leaves more questions.  The first 3 holes were drilled into the HSE blanket  The next 3 holes were deep holes drilled into the porphyry target.  The last 3 holes were shallow, 200 m holes drilled into the HSE blanket which makes sense.  It would be ...more
