potential value

anybody care to share how much they believe CNC valuation could be with all 5 projects? (for potential take over purpose)?  If CNC would be classified as the 10th largest and biggest nickel find of the decade, i am seriously asking myself how big of a bag i just aquired myself and what would be my potential target.

In a recent interview with Mark Selby, they asked him if the shareholders of CNC could expect the same type of multiple expansion that we've had up to now but going forward. He laughed it off and said something along the lines of he doesn't know about that but a multiple of 3-4 times from around here should be doable... Of course even he himself doesn't know what's coming in the ...more

yes, you're right, this interview is exactly what ticked me off, and it's really hard to value without the NPV yet and with 5 project so far in the future, the projections are even harder to make.  With PEA coming at the end of April, i have very little doubt that PEA will be very positive on Crawford.  With Glencore in the neighborhood, i am very much excited on the bright ...more

I think if we saw half of that, everyone would be very happy.

I'd peg it at $45-$55 but I think $65 is realistic. This is a beast folks. $CNC.V

LOL, Always fun to see what others think where it might end up, with Kidd Creek on it's end cycle, i would not be surprised that we would be a potential take over by Glencore.   But all in all, $65 realistic?  I say my retirement will be earlier than i thought and i still got some ways to go before that, but we never know.  Anyhow, my take is that we hold a huge ...more

The advantage here is that CAPEX for Crawford will cover the majority of cost for the 5 other prospects, should they be economically viable. The economy of scale grows more & more in favor with each additional resource/reserve because many of the processing plant, mill, & infrastructure does not have to be built new for each additional deposit, there would be plenty of duplicate overlap ...more

Very well put. I Beleive the drilling on the option properties starts next month. They are using some Geothermal techniques to try to identify anomalies on where to drill. Mark has stated that they used this technique to find the high grade core at Crawford. He has stated that they see a similar anamoly in MacDirmad. So I do hope this is a district size deposit. The action potentially could start ...more

Well said Ingnaciocashmere. Lots of potential here to be a $50 stock if they hit on all five. Great point on multi deposits would be covered by original CAPEX. Don't forget Platinum/palladium will cover most if not all of CAPEX as well.

I agree with what you wrote Ignacio and i hope I'm wrong but sadly i don't think we'll be allowed to reach our full potential and match these targets were throwing out on here. Only because like you say, this is a very publicized company in a possibly upcoming nickel boom with a much needed huge resource. The big boys will never let this go. Obtaining funding like you say should be ...more

I agree that it will be bought over - but I think that is most likely the plan all along. To establish and market an asset that is going to be of real value worldwide. The best case scenario is what happened in Voisey Bay with Robert Friedland. They ended up having an auction amongst all the majors and it drove the price up incredibly. I think it was sold at a price of over $120 (presplit ...more
