The importance of being first out of the gate
I strongly believe any of these junior nickel miners that can't get their act together and take too long to get their mine into production will suffer dearly. By the time they gain traction, the battery technology will be changing. We already have companies GM, Toyota, Quantumscape, etc experimenting with EV batteries that don't require nickel and cobalt. Every company wants to reduce the cost of batteries and they're moving fast to get it done. We have about 5-6 years TOPS before we see major disruptions in the battery industry. A nickel supercycleI will only make things worse and these companies will work even harder to obtain new battery technologies because of these expensive minerals. And believe me, they will get it done. I can't emphasize enough the importance of what Mark Selby is doing with respect to how quick he's trying to get things up and running. The solid companies already in production early in the game will be rewarded with the contracts.----------------------- https://www.mining.com/world-no-2-electric-carmaker-goes-entirely-nickel-cobalt-free/

Great points apapas, which is why I prefer to see a buyout at a fair price in the next year. Trying to time the peak of the supercycle would add risk. Any new tech could influence nickel prices quickly in these markets, should something come out of left field that doesn't take as long to impliment.

Great post APAPAS and I too would agree with that assessment. the more I learn about Selby, the more I think he is the guy that can pull this off in the timeline you lay out in your post. have a great weekend. cheers,
