Still no volume

Well my guess of news on the 13th came and went. I realized we weren't getting the news from the previous Friday. There was no volume. If this news is supposed to be a game changer, the pros and large institutions will sniff it out and load up prior. I find it hard to believe they've fully loaded on the previous recent high volume days when we were trading 6-7 hundred thousand shares. My best guess at this time would be on Monday the 20th. Only because it's before Christmas and I know Mondays are very popular for big news releases. Let's see. Mark may surprise us and release on any random day.

Novice investor question.... If a major is taking a 15% interest oin Cnc in the near future for example ,would it make sense to suppress the share price prior to? Asking for a friend. Lol Glta

If I have 67 Camaro Z-28 does it matter what it sold for in 67? What it's worth is what it's worth regardless of what it was worth before

The short answer is yes cravingprofits. One reason to suppress a share price prior to a major taking interest is for specific investment funds to get in as cheap as they can. In fact most of the time you'll find stocks dive just prior to big announcements just to shake the weak hands. It's a regular occurrence. The challenge is differentiating between a manufactured drop and one that's ...more

Thank you Apapas, But that still leaves me at square one? Appreciate your Input though. But I'm also looking at proof in the pudding? Meaning... examples? How would they do it? Warrants? Shorts? Etc? Sorry for my newbie question. Glta

Many times they'll put in a huge block of bids. Investors seeing this interpret this as safe to get in but then they pull the bids and go to asks. They'll then short it cravingprofits. But they short it at key technical levels. This causes a break of that level and triggers everyone's stops. Once enough stops are triggered, you get a snowball effect. If a stock finds support, they' ...more

Good points apapas. As I mentioned it won't be the last time deals are "accommodated" and seeing that surge in shorts makes you wonder. Bounced too perfectly off the 50 dma. Tomorrow will be interesting.

I'm looking for what we can officially call a reversal day tomorrow endzone. A higher close than today. Today is not technically considered a reversal because we made a lower low from the previous day. I'd like to see it on volume. It would be a huge sign news is coming.
