Insider buy/ sells
Someone I know brought this to my attention. It was posted by someone else on ceo.ca. Thanking that person for the info again. Looks like Mark absorbed most of the other directors sale. Marks purchase 75,000 shares. The other director 100,000 sold. Transactions happened around the 350-360 range.

Too bad this Balch guy sold... I didn't like to see that. Why would you sell if you are on the edge of a big deal or a big growth year? If anyone can help explain this that'd be great.

Sometimes these guys need money for another purpose. If he paid .15 cents a share why wouldn't you take some profit? No issue at all

But if he knew something would be coming down the pipe I'm sure it would have been worthwhile to hold out for more? Marks so far in the green taking over 3/4 of his shares really means nothing

As an insider there are many reasons to sell and only one reason to buy. If you think the price goes up. Said Peter lynch about insider trades. We won't know about his motivations but the fact that Mark bought says a lot imo. He could have waited for a dip and then buy.

Like you said, there are any reasons to sell ... I have never before seen a situtation where one director needs to sell shares, and the other director makes a back room deal to help the with their "problem". Reminds me of a meme I saw. "Everything on Sale. Mr. Wu has an expensive divorce and needs the money!".

Balch has over 450,000 in options. He's going to use those to take a position. If it was anything bad, Selby would be a complete fool to pick up those shares. And at times they exercise options and then sell for tax reasons.

Had the same thought regarding taxes as the transaction was on the last day of 2021.

Definitely a tax move with all those options. Now that we have the loan deal complete its time for some long overdue assays. Mark is on Crux next week so would be good timing.
