Site specifics
Takeway from public meeting...
Hyw 655 will be relocated to the north of the property a 20 klm rebuild
Power line will also have to be moved along hyw
Ril service will tie in from Glencore proprty and brought to site for export of concentrates and Ontario Northland will maintain rails
There will be two waste rock stock piles and after main zone is mined out waste rock from east and west pit will be sent to main pit for infilling
There will be 3 overburden stock piles on site
There will be 3 low grade stock piles on site and will be put through in the later years
There will be 3 ponds for water supply
They will be running a 10 klm clean water return line to Mattagami river wich will be monitored and will meet all governement requirements
The tailing pond will be larger in size and lower in height wich will benefit carbon capture
The new 40 year mine life suggest that we will be doubling resource come end of June as if you think of it the 15 years that will be tacked on to the present 25 year mine life will all be ran at 120,000 tpd and 42,000 tons on nickel annualy
Glencores pilot plant looks not to be needed as it was going to be used to prove up to sceptics that low grade ore can be economical,but at the 100 plus million cost not looking to be in picture as metalurgical test work speaks for itself..proceed to the big picture
Takeway to this meeting gives you a broad idea of how much work is going on with CNC behind closed doors ...many consultations with vast groups in all walk of life including govermental..
Big project cost big money wich in the end gives big returns, but the need for NICKEL gives this project an above average green light....glta
