Nickel price

Nickel up almost 5% this morning to $10.41. Be nice to see some new traction.

Nickel up almost 7% now. Serious move. Last at $10.61.

For the bargain rate of ??? Selbybucks, every hour, on the hour, EZ47 will copy/paste a number from Kitco to Stockhouse. For a small additional fee, he will accuse detractors of being broke scrubs with too much time on their hands, hanging out in either their mom's basement or a colocated Tim Hortons.

Nickel price largest one day jump in a good while is very post worthy. The FPX tag team sound really down in the dumps with all their US fund groups dumping millions of shares and almost out of cash. 300 million outstanding coming soon. Now there's some extremely brutal dilution.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Nov 01, 2022 8:47pm
My brother in Christ, FPX is going to close the year with $5M in cash and no debt. You've been saying that their next round of funding is right around the corner for like half a year, meanwhile your CEO has since taken on another $10M USD loan at credit card equivalent terms. "Dumping millions of shares" is also hyperbole, since total volume for the last 3 weeks is sub-2M shares. Of ...more

I reported this to the company.  This is defamation.
Comment by idlefreebird on Nov 01, 2022 10:16pm
ENDZONE ,I've researched FPX a year ago and if you look at some of there numbers things don't add up... 120,000 tpd milling for 365 days for 43.8 million tpa would mean they run 365 days...there isn't a mill on this universe that don't have at least a monthly shutdown and this size of operation could be a two day a month as lifters and liner changes is a big job for this size of ...more

Simple. The recovery is twice as high.
Comment by idlefreebird on Nov 02, 2022 6:27am
n3 , not sure that CNC 52 % AND fpx 85 % IS DOUBLE IN MY BOOKS...33% HIGHER EVEN WITH GRADE 2 MATH ISN'T DOUBLE..GLTA
Comment by NoobTube on Nov 02, 2022 7:08am
Simple way to look at it is 50% recovery at 0.24% grade is a true grade of 0.12%.

More than a million = millions. Facts matter... via Kaiser. Looks like multiple groups lost interest the last year as their cash levels dwindle. "The problem has been a persistent seller through RBC since September which has spooked the market and made life miserable for CEO Martin Turenne. This episode discusses a possible explanation which is that a major buyer in the April 2021 bought deal ...more

My brother in Christ, at least 2 units are required for plural
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Nov 02, 2022 10:29am
Huh, only in French, apparently. TIL. The part you left out about Kaiser's analysis is that FPX remains one of his absolute top picks. GLTA :^)
Comment by EndZonefor7 on Nov 02, 2022 11:31am
As a layman reading that I would be running the other way. Large investors dumping and speculating of doubting the project viability plus potential for more sellers hiding in the wings does not make for a top pick.
Comment by GnuckyT on Nov 02, 2022 5:56pm
source please.  Otherwise this is no different than the story about Elon Musk being spotted sniffing around Crawford the day that kid that tracked his jet flights took a break.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Nov 02, 2022 9:08am
...85 isn't 33% higher than 52... Double was a bit loose (I thougt Crawford was mid/high 40s) but recovery largely squares the circle you said didn't add up.
Comment by idlefreebird on Nov 02, 2022 1:02pm
n3 was off to the golf course had no time to babble...CNC new lock test is showing 62% and have a 90 ton pilot project coming out for Feasibility..that will determine recoveries...your NPV is based on full scale 120,000 tpd for 35 years with 2 plus million tons of nickel...our last PEA WAS WITH JUST OUR 860,000 TONS OF NICKEL FOR 25 YEARS AND WITH THE NEW RESOURCE WE HAVE NOW INCREASED OUR NICKEL ...more
Comment by GnuckyT on Nov 02, 2022 5:54pm
what a word salad of nonsense.   Otice out of all the nickel miners in Ontario no one is here that's knowledgeable in mining.  Only people like you that babble meaningless drivel. the point he made was on recovery rates and reading the fine print.   what you are saying is a non answer and meaningless gobbledegook.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Nov 02, 2022 6:18pm
My brother in Christ, the C1 costs and (mine life) represented by the bubble locations are calculated without byproduct credits and accurately reflect the economic studies released by each company to date. Screaming gibberish in capital letters certainly conveys your complete lack of concern. Methinks the mental health issued levied against detractors here are accompanied by a certain amount of ...more

Page 16 of CNC's PEA provides for 8,059 operating hours per year, which is 22.08 hours per day, 365 days a year. Still hold the same convictions?
Comment by idlefreebird on Nov 02, 2022 6:32am
n3 , AGAIN GRADE 2 MATH...WHERE I COME FROM DAYS ARE 24 HOURS ..2 HOURS REMOVED EVERY DAY X 365 GIVES YOU 30 DAYS OR 2.5 DAYS A MONTH FOR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE..GLTA
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Nov 02, 2022 9:16am
Sure, okay. You can quibble about a few percent here and a fe percent there but you could also shave 25% off the NPV of FPX's PEA and it would still be higher than CNC's, even though FPX assumed no byproduct credits) No smelting required = significantly cheaper/greener, and a product concentrate that's 50% purer than CNC makes it ideally suited for battery chemicals. GLTA

Good points idle. Never a good sign when the insiders dump at the top.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Nov 01, 2022 10:54pm
Dumping isn't really the right word, but I've accepted that your relationship with the truth is tenuous at best. As you're no doubt aware, management of FPX holds nearly 25% of the company (even after all the "dumping") as compared to 5% at CNC.
Comment by N3tPr0phet on Nov 29, 2022 11:21am
My brother in Christ, you are wrong again. A strategic investment at a 25% premium to market which funds them well into 2024 and results in a share count well, well below the 300M you suggest.  Go pay Auramet their money.
