Peak Oil/low grade nickel

Remember when the world was calling for peak oil? Around 07,08...the world was running out of oil and prices spiked. Then a little understood method called fraking unleashed a boom for US oil producers. I remember...same premise here. Low grade nickel deposits that were passed over previously, just like oil deposits in America before 07...new technologies, new processes always develop. High grade nickel deposits are few and far between. The world will adapt and more than likely embrace low grade high volume deposits....that's my belief and bet. You don't agree, cool...but the nickel has to come from somewhere.

Exactly Sam. The world progresses and the old school thinkers get left in the dust. CNC has been progressing on carbon capture methods and advancing metallurgy results as modern companies are doing.

Can you post links of these new technologies?   In oil there were also some technologies that were supposed to work and didn't ...check out Derek Resources. Nickel doesn't have to happen.  There are other battery chemistries emerging that don't involve nicikel and if nickel is too expensive rest assured something new may be developed.
