The company will continue drilling until December.

Canada Nickel (TSX-V: CNC) is on track to complete the second stage of the federal permitting process for Crawford, their flagship Nickel sulphide project, by the end of the summer. Once submitted, the government has 365 days to respond. They are also forging ahead with all of their provincial permits.

"We need to build Crawford by the end of the year,” Selby said.

The Crawford Nickel Project has a total reserve of 3.8 million tonnes, making it the second largest nickel reserve, second only to the Russian Norilsk mine, according to Wood Mackenzie company filings.

This represents 3 per cent of total global nickel reserves of 130,000,000 tonnes, as estimated by the United States Geological Survey.
