The companies report claims that total EV sales could have it's potential. With Democrats now winning control of the Senate, the administration could potentially implement progressive energy policies.
 
President-elect appears to have pledged to build approximately 500,000 EV charging stations- around a 5x potential in the U.S. EV infrastructure and to cover nearly 60% of the country’s potential demand. Without sufficient supplies of minerals such as lithium, the potential $3 trillion EV market could struggle to meet demand.
