financing

It is supposed to close on or about November 25th.  That is tomorrow.  Yes we are trading very low volume and as such expect the price to be volatile but maybe our decrease in the last couple of days is because we are getting close to the finalization of the offering.

Maybe since it didn't close, people are afraid and taking this as a sign of weaknes that the price will have to be lowered from $1.75 to maybe $1.60.  I'm not saying this will happen but I'm sure some investors think this.

How is it that it's taking so long to finalize when someone said that CRE was approached to do triple the financing at $1.75 but they only chose to do $26M (not $75million).  Just close this stupid financing and let's move on.  It was already a slap in the face of shareholders and the longer it doesn't close, the lower the share price seems to be moving.

I expect an NR later today (or tomorrow) regarding the closing of this.

I also expect an NR with an update in the next couple of weeks (on the project, etc.)

I also expect permits (provincial) in the first or second week of December.

I also expect to become a millionaire when the share price hits $10 but CRE's lack of urgency to do anything in a reasonable time has me thinking that I would gladly settle for $5 in a year's time and move on with my life :)

It was a bought deal meaning the broker agreed to buy all the shares. The stock is down because 40% of trades are short sell! Basically whoever bought them is short selling and taking their money and keeping the warrants as they are now free for them! Blame management, they should have never done it! Price will stay low as (my opinion) the partner told them probably will invest but want 30-50 ...more

I think your wrong Monkeyhere171  I think a partner announcment comes the morning after the permit . This is a company that has not drilled a hole in 11 years . Theyve had plenty of time to plan and talk to eveyone in the world . The final permit was supposed to come in March, and they have had all of this extra time to finalize whatever was going to happen to  line up the money and the ...more

I agree  I agree I agree eric said to me Saturday  thanks for your ongoing support. As you can imagine, any new information will have been provided by news release, especially during the sensitive deal closing period.

"deal closing period." I take this as during the financing period. if as expected the financing closes tomorrow than perhaps news to follow. I also think the window for permits is limited to 2-3 weeks. Government bureaucracies tend to basically shut down 2 weeks before Christmas. If there is no news on the permit by Dec 15 than expect nothing until next year.

You can't short sell a share that you bought, that's just selling at a loss. Shorters borrow shares to sell and then buy back later when the price is cheaper, pocketing the difference. That is not to say that the shares being created in this PP can't be sold to trading houses who will in turn lend them to shorters, but no one is shorting the stock so they can buy warrants for free. The ...more

Of course you can, they won't even have to borrow them which limits the risk! Mind it's bought deal so the broker can do whatever they want with the shares and there is no hold period on these, strange right? Let say I buy 100 shares for $175 and I'll get 50 warrants @$2.50. I start short sell to bring the stock price down as that's my intent, as I pointed out in my previous post. ...more

Here's how you make money by shorting the PP... bumping it up for those who asked.
