Forget writing to COMEX

Anyone there in the know can not point you to a date of completion or even to the progress made.
All this is considered priviledged info.

The only thing we should be considering is what Eric said in the last 2 podcasts. He did say that the permit was nearing completion and that there were no new questions or red flags.

However, writing to the minister (Fitz) about these very long procedural delays is not a bad Idea.

Comparing with other players who are going full bore like Australia almost puts us to shame.

At least the Canada side commited to a dead line and only asked for a 3 month delay for Covid.

But Quebec ?  On the third round of answered questions, they took a full year to get back to us.

There is a price to pay if you want be first (Quebec a battery HUB ???) so hire some extra people and give them deadlines.

Tinker901, I respectfully disagree.  We should be writing to COMEX as well.  Whether it's the secretary that answers or someone else, it shows that there are interested parties (ie. us, investors) that want the project to keep moving forward.   As for Fitz, see my previous message.  He replied same day (which was surprising).  Another twist happened yesterday ...more

I think there comes a point when calling or writing entities such as COMEX becomes counter  productive. COMEX exists as an independent body to receive input both positive and negative on projects. These entities prize their independence and may come to resent interventions from persons or groups perceived as outsiders  The surest way to encourage stalling or outright denial is to mess ...more

Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us Redbull. This board truly rocks! When you call her back, could you ask her is a Phase 2 Rose Permitting would be considered a new project? Not holding my breath for a COMEX decision but definitely holding my shares for long. GLTA Cheers to all longs!

Well... if the new projects will be fast tracked starting the summer time and CRE lingering around better put my money into VLI lol. It should get pumped up similarly to FL besides being way behind.. The process cannot be changed but what management can do is pump up the company to attract more investors: - update that based one the market the economics of the project are .... in other words ...more

Hi kakoo, I am thinking that it will require a different type of permit, most likely the conversion plant will be located at the southern part of Quebec. tiger

I dont think anyone asked for privileged information,  more towards making frustrations know about the long drawn out approval process. I asked for guidelines relating to the updating of comex meeting minutes and Nov minutes were posted the following monday.  Too bad Dec wasnt posted as well. Regardless i think its good to reach out to all parties involved in the permitting ...more
