Interesting that the other companies that will present at this event will be represented by the respective President or CEO.  Now CRE on the other hand - Eric Zaunscherb, Non-Executive Chair No word from our CEO or President as always. Nothing against Eric, he does a great job, but he always says the same thing over and over. Last summer he was saying a permit was not necessary to make ...more

I know that I've mentioned this in previous posts but where is Haber? For an obviously key member of management he's never seen or heard from. Is he alive, in witness protection, moved to a monastery? When a President of a company hasn't showed his face for eons it doesn't build a huge amount of confidence. All kidding aside I'm seriously wondering if he is still involved in ...more

There was a meeting between a few bull board members and Haber/JSL or was it EZ? For all reasons and purposes they received a tobacco enima and it gave us all a warm fuzy for 2 or 3 weeks. Nothing has changed in their alternate universe of PQ!
Comment by Speedypete on Mar 28, 2022 3:20pm
Thats exactly how it feels but what the hell do we do about it?  They dont answer anyones questions.   Just the same old response..   I know i know sell and move on but i have already explained why i dont wanna do that either.  Too much time invested .  We wait and wait but surely it cant hurt to let management know we are not happy about the silent treatment they have ...more

Hi rockhound01, Haber is definitely working on the project. When I contcated JSL after the PP in 2020 to setup a conference call he's the one who offered to include Haber on the call. He spent 45 minutes explaining his views and predictions on the lithium market, answered all our questions. We had another conference call in January of this year and he spent close to an hour on the call with us ...more

Hi Matteo, Thank you for your response. I think it's great that management decided to have a call with a few key members of a chat board to quell any dissension that was brewing at that time but there are hundreds of other shareholders, potential shareholders etc that would expect the President of a public company to communicate with shareholders on a fairly regular basis rather than every ...more

A few YouTube videos etc is not the way to go to reach the market and shareholders, it could be part of an overall plan. Corporate press releases, corporate ppt presentations, quarterly reports/earnings conference calls, update FS, drilling results, a US listing, Patrick Laperrire Director of IR promotion plan are the way to go.

"They have millions of shares and the price affects them a lot more than it affects us" ... that is only relative to amount of money invested, skin in the game. They have also been collecting salaries and stock options and we are how many years later with a languishing share price?!

Well, after yesterday's shiity day that brought down most of the lithium plays on my radar, it seemed almost certain that the following posts on this board would have been on the negative side. That being said, Eric is our "public" PR guy and has been since he got on board. He is very articulate in english (better than JSL) and I thing that is why he is the ideal person to voice our ...more

Up until December management was saying that permits are not a mandatory requirement for making a deal... and suddenly they are required! Even at that time some board members argued with me regarding that... Point is that CRE refuses to make any agreements, compared to peers which is a bit odd, no? All these juniors are rushing to promote and make a supply intent agreements letters that are ...more

Monkeyhere, Here is what I see : Permits are not required to make any deal. But they are required to conclude "our deal".  We have asked for special conditions (up front cash) and the Partner is asking for a 100% certitude that we have a green light.  Time will tell if I am right, but alot of info is pointing in that direction.

It seeems we have to wait longer, to be more patient. I really have a bad taste with Quebec. The top 2 lithium miners were bankrupted, the 3rd one CRE have been waitting for the damn permit forever. tiger

I have a bad taste since Bre-X....a Calgary company in Alberta .....the biggest fraud ever in Canada

I have a bad taste from ALL Provincial governments in Canada. I have an extremely bad taste from the Federal government ( ALL PARTIES )  ;)

Some people take longer than others. The old adage comes to mind. CAN'T SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES  Quebec is crooked. Plain and simple.

I agree... it feels like once again, admin sat down and said "OK, how can we put out a NR even though we have no N to R"  Whatever, the sp will tell us if anything real ever happens Cheers

Tinker, you didn't miss it. Eric is presenting at 1:30. Matteo01

I can't see it. If anything at all is new, can someone post a brief summary. TIA
Comment by Speedypete on Mar 30, 2022 2:07pm
I just listened to the presentation.   Nothing really new from my prespective.   The only thing that caught my ear was that Comex may have dicussed our permit in their march meeting but it has been brought to this board that they did not.   We wait.
Comment by bigops on Mar 30, 2022 2:12pm
further to speedypete's comment...Eric specifically said that the Comex agenda and outcome were not public....so again, it is a stretch for this board to be able to confirm something that the Company itself does not have information about....remember, when an agency like the comex says something like - the project is underreview - all that means is that it has not received a permit yet....so ...more

When I talked to my broker about the March meeting, he said that even JSL does not know if COMEX  discussed CRE at the last meeting. Maybe Rebull and Sophie are sleeping together ?  (just joking :) )
Comment by Wheeler on Mar 30, 2022 4:10pm
I think it is safe to say that JSL would not even bother to ask comex about their recommendation. I believe that is part of the problem, if management were a little more proactive and stressed to comex how eager they are to get  this started, they may just speed up the process. Maybe not, but just maybe.
Comment by tinker901 on Mar 30, 2022 4:38pm
Wheeler, The "ask" is already there, along with the ask of all other mining outfits in that region. JSL will not and should not ask for any "favors" at the COMEX level. If there was a door to knock on, it could be at a higher level with Fitzgibbon maybe. But then again we have no clue as to what contacts our team has with GVT officials. My guess is that everything legally ...more

I am certainly not suggesting that management ask for "favours", I totally respect this process and the right of the residents of James Baie to have input into the projects that they ultimately have to live with, I'm simply suggesting that squeaky wheels tend to get greased before the quiet ones. I mean seriously, it's been 14 months since the public hearings, comex has had ...more

It was a very good presentation as usual with Eric, he did mention that Haber and Brune have been very busy meeting with different groups with over 100 meetings to date. He understands the frustrations with shareholders on the Quebec permit and stated that they are very confident that a permit will be coming soon, be it a few days or a few weeks from now. He repeated that sentiment saying a few ...more
