Although lithium carbonate spot prices have eased off their peak from 497k yuan to 457k now, spodumene on the other hand has never stopped increasing.

That tells me that China is stockpiling and once the multiple lockdowns are done, the multiple conversion plants will get back to work.

Spot prices for spodumene these days are around 2600$ a ton but Pilbara has had "yard sales"  with prices almost double of that.
