I'm in absolute AWE...not!

after tax NPV - US147 million using a price deck of US$1500 t sc6 compared to a US1.9 billion for CRE

Is it a wonder why they switched gears trying to focus on building converters, but you still need to get  feed stock from some where!

This project has a schmit load of work to do, I think we did our first FS type study in 2012 or 2013.

But still their market cap is C$260M so trading significantly higher compared to our CRE...

Yes monkey that's where I was going with this, either the market has RCK way over valued or CRE way under valued.  Our NPV is 13x higher, and we are fully permitted.  Market dislocation or what?

Definitely "or what".. For me the market doesn't believe JSL will make a good deal for the shareholders!! It's one thing to have sellers who want out, but the lack of buyers is concerning.  We are in JSL hands now and will be up to him to make financing at higher than market value otherwise we are all screwed. Next few months will be really painful, and I'm warning ...more

Monkey, you may very well be right about your fear of dilution theory, however, even with a terrible deal our market cap reflects very little value. Say we were to finance 100 m shares at $2 for $200 m and took the rest of the capex on as debt, an absolutely hideous deal, that would give us about 330 m outstanding shares. At 1X our $2.5 b NAV that would still put us at $7.50 CAN per share. Even at ...more
