CRE

CRE will do what CRE has always done.....be like no other! To think that another title rises CRE will rise is a mistake. CRE is never like the others. Thinking that lithium goes up should make CRE go up is another mistake. Thinking that CRE has leaders who don't care about investors is yet another mistake. Because thinking of them it bounces back on the little ones....in the long run. Why have no CRE leaders ever sold anything? why do large private investors accumulate CRE? why is the title so manipulated? why will it take longer for CRE than for other titles? simply because CRE is a unique gem that will shine only when everything is in place. Everyone would like to see CRE at $5+ now because everyone sees the profit from their investment as soon as possible. Sorry but it doesn't work like that, it's years of patience. 13 years of holding CRE shares and tomorrow is not the day before everything explodes. But we are getting there slowly (very slowly) but surely.

Well, it's like that for several other of CRE's peers. Cre being different from the rest is not a positive

With respect, 110158, I find this frustrating.  As an investor I expect the company I invest in to deliver value to my investment. I am a dozen year shareholder.  It should have taken half the time to get to where this company is at today.  Not all of that is at the feet of CRE management, but they are accountable for it none the less.  We have people running this company ...more

Personally, I am still paying interest on money I borrowed to buy shares in this company. I would like to realize a little more value so I can sell some and stop paying the interest. Management owes shareholders big time, and a little transparency is not too much to ask for.

Your post shows your investing prowess. " NEVER BORROW TO INVEST " You reap what you sow.

That's an odd rule, never borrow to invest? Perhaps, "never borrow to gamble" might be a better statement. I dumped an rrsp loan into CRE many years ago and given my average share price, I've done reasonably well and I've never bought any on margin so I've never had any real worries. But that's a just me, we all go at this in different ways depending on our risk ...more

I respect the point of view but no mine has been built in less than 12 years with a few exceptions probably. I chose to be in CRE no one forced me. Like everyone else I also had my period of dissatisfaction. But I chose the realistic side of the situation and not the side of what I hope for, So I have lower highs when things are going well but above all lower lows when things are going badly ...more

Fair enough.  I agree that no mine has been built in 12 years (at least not one of this scale) but we have not started construction on a mine in that 12 years.  All I am saying is that we should have expectations of the company we invested in (largely based on the promise that the company made to the market).  If the company isn't meeting them we should be talking about it.
