Focus on: RECEIVE & ANALYZE

As far as I am concerned - the most important line in the corporate update from today is the following (emphasis mine):

Critical Elements has commenced a formal process to receive and analyze multiple expressions of interest in participating in the financing and development of the project received to date.

This tells me that the groups that have been in the Data room for the past number of months have been told that the Due Diligence process has come to an end and now it is time to submit BIDS....this is literally what we have been waiting for.....CRE has told the institutions to submit bids so they can be received and analyzed....in more plain english they have told possible suitors to s%$t or get off the pot.

I think you are right in your opinions. But what annoys everyone in general is the slowness of the process. For many here it's 10 years and more that the $ are sleeping. When we see the quality of the news from CRE we could expect a lot better in terms of the situation and the value of the s.p. Some make a specialty of demolishing the value of CRE .... we will never know who and why and where ...more

I for one think they likely have good options on the table and are now ...more

Personally the word I appreciated was "unencumbered" Believe you me, in 25 years of speculating on these exchanges I know what encumbered feels like :) Lev

We already have similar news back in August 2022: "A substantial number of non-disclosure agreements with potential strategic partners are now in place, illustrative of the competitive tension in the lithium market. These parties are currently in the process of reviewing the Corporation's extensive data set in the data room."   Now February 1st they say: Critical ...more

Hi monkeyhere, I see things differently from you. I am working in the construction industry, and bidding different projects. I "feel" CRE is tellling us that the data room review is closed, and the submission for their bids are closed too, and they have received different proposals from different interested parties. They will review all proposals, and sellect some of the proposals to ...more

The scenario that you are describing is using letters of commitment or intent. The "letter of interest" is not that strong and is used when there is no strong commitment to anything.
