Volkswagon

Like I said last week, Canada to slow to pull the trigger. VW has decided to build EV car plant in South Carolina, where you think battery plant will go ? Hate to be political but if we don't get Trudeau and people like Guilbault out of the way we can kiss the market goodbye. We need Polievre and his get the gate keepers out of the way style if we want to see a profit here. Places like the ring of fire were discovered in 2006 and not even a wagon trail in there yet. Stuff like that puts us in the back of the bus when it comes to the new markets.

Well, you're right this is not the place to be political... I don't like neither, Tuedeau and Polievre,  for different reasons... As for the reason VW didn't come to Quebec it's been explained by Fitzgibbon and local newpapers: VW wanted to have a quick access to 800MW of power in a large city so they can get all the workers needed around. I guess we'll soon see if anything happens in Canada. The US is giving all kinds of perks to locate in that country. I tend to not believe to many news sources on pretty much any issue these days as our National News CBC pretty much carries only what Trudeau tells them to say. My interest really got peaked when Freeland was in windsor tewlling those people Canada is ready and has all the ...more
