I am sure that If we had same deal with CRE that we will read here OMG what incompetent management we have they use DILUTION in a financing deal. JMHO

And why we wouldn't fret about such a deal after waiting for 1 year? 50% discount to the market price could have been done right after permit, when Lithium was hot, stock close to $3 and construction cost lower at that time. Now at $1.6 share price ... they will need to issue 300M shares probably to raise half of the capital needed. Debt now is much more expensive compared to a year ago and ...more

Liontown topped out at 3 bucks after they made ALBs hostile bid public, prior to that they were sitting at 1.40-1.50 So their equity raise at 1.80 is actually a premium to their SP 5-6 months ago.

Liontown Also has 2.2 billion shares ! 6.2 billion market cap 1.90$ a share  CRE I take a market cap of 6 billion!! yes please!!!

The Liontown financing was odd even for Australia. When I first started investing in Aussie stocks it was 1967 and it was hard to get my head around companies having billions of shares and share prices at a dollar or less.
