What did we just witness today?

Was that a shakeout? Did someone want to trigger stop losses and gobble up the cheap shares? Someone bought it all up. And we closed well above the lows of the day. This might have been a shaking of the tree  just before an announcement.

I dont know about an announcement but thats what i thought that it was a Hell of a shake out.
