    Mercedes-Benz and Factorial are working together on a solid-state battery that will be ready for production by the end of the decade. 
  • Sunwoda and GAC Motor
    Sunwoda and GAC Motor plan to achieve mass production of solid-state batteries by 2026. 
  • Welion and Qingtao Energy
    Welion and Qingtao Energy plan to achieve mass production of solid-state batteries in 2027. 
  • BYD and CATL
    BYD and CATL plan to achieve small-scale production of solid-state batteries by 2027
  • Stellantis
    In partnership with Factorial, Stellantis plans to have a demonstration fleet of Dodge Charger Daytona vehicles with solid-state batteries on the road by 2026. 
  • Toyota
    Toyota aims to mass produce solid-state batteries between 2027 and 2028. Toyota's batteries are expected to have a range of 621 miles and charge in 10 minutes. 
  • Nissan
    Nissan plans to launch solid-state batteries for EVs by early 2029.
