WindSentinel/Vindicator Deployment on Lake Michiga
This is a good example of the utility of the WindSentinel/Vindicator platform for measuring wind. Easier government approval and much cheaper than previous assessment methods. In fact, their 3.1 million grant wouldn't have covered a tower but a WindSentinel with a Vindicator fits the budget (and delivers great data). Hopefully we'll see a news release regarding the follow-on orders soon, though my guess is that we'll see something closer to the year end report (on April 12 in 2010). With the tragedy in Japan with the nuclear reactor look for people to look at wind more for energy production. Here's the link to the WindSentinel Lake Michigan story:

Bottom line is that the Vindicator is a superb unit that works and is currently being deployed.
