CALGARY, Alberta, April 07, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CVW CleanTech Inc. (the "Company" or “CVW CleanTech”) (TSX-V: CVW), formerly Titanium Corporation, is pleased to confirm that the Company has been awarded $5 million of non-repayable grant funding from the Clean Resource Innovation Network (“CRIN”). The funds will be utilized for detailed engineering and procurement of key equipment required for the CVW™ Tailings Distillation Units (the “Project”).

Interesting. They are procuring equipment. I'm no rocket scientist but that tells me an agreement has to be imminent or they wouldn't be buying materials. The release also says The award was made under CRIN’s “Reducing Environmental Footprint” competition. CRIN announced the award on March 9, 2022. Work to finalize the contracts and agreements is presently underway. This Tells me it

Pull the goalie! Oh, wait, wrong sport.... Anyway, is it just me or did they change the wording on Stockhouse's bio when tic switched to cvw? They now reference 5 major sites as potential partners. Weren't they only referring to Horizon before?

I've been around so long I remeber when a 5mil grant would send up the SP double digits.

Yeah, me too. And then we would watch it slowly drift down to a lower baseline than it started at. I think the difference now is that we know this project is going to move ahead regardless of grants like this if the corporate decision makers decide it's in their ESG interest. If it makes them money that will be a bonus.

i thought that CNQ's Horizon is the front runner but that they were talking / tesitng w at least 5 groups .  each group has a different feedmix. even within CNQ i think there is room for more than 1 plant
