Gilles

I am still amazed that there is a single person that can defend Gilles performance as CEO. I defy anyone to show me one thing, ONE FREAKIN THING he has done in 8 years that has increased the top line for CZO. The  company share price moves up and down based on demand for the 2 legacy products, thats it. A dimwitted kid could have accomplished what GIlles has accomplished to grow this company in the last 8 years. All I am saying is we are still having this conversation at AGM time vote against current managment . Remember when he said they were going to take more sales in house? What ever happened to that idea? Still selling the vast majority to one buyer. The list of inciatives that went no where is too long to go into. The list of inciatives that produced tangible results remains at ZERO.

You must have missed reading PofF posts. You've been posting here since Jan. 15 with only negativie comments so your agenda is pretty well apparent. There is one company I follow, XBC that was trading for pennies 10 years ago.  It recently became a billion dollar company. The same CEO. What has happened in the last 4 years is the move from selling gas dryers to the acceptance of ...more

This is the same argument. You are saying just because there has been no progress on revenue other than the natural rise in demand for the legacy products for 8 years we should give them a pass and hope for the best.. I say with a good CEO we could be 10 times the price we are now. This ia not an ad hominem attck . This is just facts. CZO has underfperormed what I percieve as its potential. Who is ...more

Yes my agenda has always been clear I want to make more money on my investment and a new  dynamic enterpenurial CEO who understands how to promote the company how to partner with other bigger players how to build a dynamic team and make deals and generate results on the top and bottom line is my ansewer.  My original question still stands . Name one thing Gilles has done in 8 years to ...more

No doubt that Gilles is not your typcial TSXV promotional CEO. Consider that if he was and missed out on those timelines as he needed to pivot or faced unforeseen issues (ie. a black swan event like COVID); who does that benefit if the stock soared on promotion then dropped due to missed milestones? While speculators and MOMOs players who sold on a promotional spike won't be around, those who ...more

"who does that benefit if the stock soared on promotion then dropped due to missed milestones?" With all due respect Ciao, whos' fault is it that Milestones were missed? I can understand that some have been pushed due to the pandemic, nevertheless, and I'm sure you would agree, Gilles doesn't have a good track record on meeting deadlines. The chemical complex licensing deal ...more

OH Yeah and change the BIOS Gilles Mr. Don Oborowsky is an accomplished entrepreneur. He has been president and CEO of Waiward Capital since 2014. Prior to that, he has been president and owner of Waiward Steel Fabricators Ltd. since 1972. Prior to co-founding Waiward Steel Fabricators, he spent five years in construction trades in Edmonton, as a carpenter with Mod Contracting, a steel fitter ...more

Minty,  I don't disagree that the CEO is responsible for missing any self initiated timelines, when missed shareholders should be given an explanation and a path moving forward.
Comment by Tropicalsun on Feb 18, 2021 8:32pm
Ciao, that is exactly why so many investors are not happy. Because there is no transparency with this management, period. Minty is correct with the statement that Gilles has a brutal track record of giving timelines, then missing without explanation. What's worse is, a guy can't even dump his position because the stock trades little to no volume, you would crator the share price just to ...more

Our only recourse is to get enough shares together to get the boards attention, maybe 10 or 15 million would do. We would then need to have someone speak for those shares. I dont really know any other shareholders as I live away  from Canada right now but I would gladly pledge my shares to anyone who wanted to take up the task.
