Future

Ciao and proph showed us the future prospekts in detail.
There ist no question, slowly we are getting closer and closer to the realisation of our possibilities.

Sooner or later, the stock market will price these oppotunities into the share price.

The sales figure of 3-3.5 mill for the 4th quarter is disappointing for me. Hopefully the first 2 Qs of 2022 werent blips and we see continued growth in our core business in 2023.
Isaloser, you have now written over a tousand negative comments here. What are your intentions for ceapro?
IT would be nice If you could make a specific suggestion just once, If possible in an Inte, licenses language.

It is much nicer to read comments on this Board when a few bloggers are put on the ignore list.

Sorry Fos but the market is never going to give CZO credit for the pipeline. I remember 4 or so years ago when they had won best new formulation at Salon 360 and There was a cool new energy drink formulation  waiting to be monitized and they announced  the start of recruitment for the OBG study. The proph was blowing the trumpet  load and proud way back then and nothing happened ...more

The market does appear to indicate that this is a show me story; 1) energy drink: they had to pivot to another carrier from O-BG, Y-BG / SA shows promise with better cost and bioavailability, ongoing based on SCD interview in the summer, as an aside in the presentation they did say there is a short list to which to out-license one CoQ10 complex using the new substrate to a life sciences company ...more

boazklinghorn, "Point being CZO has never ever followed through on anything and until they do..." That has to be one of the craziest statements I've ever read on Stockhouse. CZO has been one of the most consistent small companies I've ever seen when it comes to following through. Whereas most early-stage businesses eventually fail and do roll-backs, name changes, and change ...more

Thats a lot, wow. I would just say on thing in reponse. Scoreboard dude. It all comes down to the SP and the market has spoken. 5 years ago before I first invested it was 66 cents and 5 years from now it will still be 66 cents. The market will move if and when it is merited by actual progress past the much loved base business and all the hopium in the world about things that might happen wont ...more

Five Year Scoreboard: S&P Bitotech ETF DOWN 9.56%. TSX-Venture DOWN 30.14%. CZO UP 3%. And CZO now has a pipeline of opportunities with tremendous upside before key catalysts and is a company endorsed by Canadian pharma icon Ronnie Miller from the second largest biotech on earth!

I love talking to you Proph, you make my points better than I can. So ya, like I said dead money for the last five years and dead money going forward until and unless they can get a new product to the market, but clearly nobody is willing to pay one penny premium for the pipeline because it has been a series of failures and detours and broken promises with complete disregard for shareholders. As ...more

Past performance in the last 5 years should not be used to predict peformance over the next 5 years. If you believe in any of the progress the company has made in the past year and what the goals are for the next, 1, 3 and 5 years, you can assign probabilities of success as the company transforms itself, do you really think it'll still be at these levels? In the short term, the share price can ...more

"PGX is a disruptive bioactive delivery system, and that is what the experts doing the reserarch tells us. The bioavailability results with CoQ10 that showed absorption at 3 - 4X higher (at 8 hrs) than the gold standard shows proof of concept and how valuable this tech is." PGX beats or smashes the gold standard at virtually all time points to eight hours and it keeps going beyond eight ...more

There's a level of frustration with the share price as PGX is being proven out while the base business still exhibits10% annual growth yet the valuation is abysmal. Beyond improving the business and hoping that the market will recognize what Ceapro is doing, I can say that, it's not working.  When you see how other venture companies with less can command a higher valuation, it goes ...more

"When you see how other venture companies with less can command a higher valuation, it goes to marketing (promoting) of the company." You liked XBC as a model for promotion and mentioned it here several times. XBC went from about $.50 in 2018 to $11.00 in 2021 and is now bankrupt. They got the stock high but the company wasn't grounded in conservatism. The BNN promoters did a ...more

There's a significant difference and no shame with promoting a company with a solid and profitable business so it trades at fair value. CZO has a solid base business and a solid R&D pipeline. CZO could be more aggressive with pipeline development, and that takes capital and personnel. If CZO was trading at higher levels it could raise funds to accelerate its pipeline development. On the ...more

"There's a significant difference and no shame with promoting a company with a solid and profitable business so it trades at fair value" What's the value of a business dependent on a 3 year agreement with its major distributor with a 3 year option? What happens if they go elsewhere in the next 2 years? Does CZO need to get control of distribution to see a higher multiple? If CZO ...more

Morningstar's current quantitative valuation of CZO is just under a dollar at .98 which they call fair value. Being a quantitative model, it doesn't give any value to their R&D pipeline and the potential for future cash flows from any commercial out-licensing deals or other markets it may enter as a result. The shares are trading at a significant discount to the base business and ...more

It always comes down to exposure.....very few know of this company and those that know about it have loaded up shares and are in waiting mode. Those that are frustrated have sold. And where did you find the terms of the new distribution agreement as being 3 and 3 as this was not in the NR where both companies heralded their great working relationship. EDMONTON, Alberta, March 10, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ceapro Inc. (TSX-V: CZO; OTCQX: CRPOF) (“Ceapro” or the “Company”), a growth-stage biotechnology company focused on the development and commercialization of ...more

Comment by Ciao on Jan 23, 2023 11:32am
To put a bias towards your narrative about how to value a business that depends on 3 year distribution agreements you wanted to have that as an input for uncertainty in the valuation. Given the strong relationship between the 2 companies, and the enthusiasm they have towards distributing more products as Gilles articulated in the SCD interview that fear is unfounded. As a backup, Gilles mentioned ...more

If it's such a strong and certain relationship why only three years? Only 2 now. That's very short. Distribution deals are often much, much longer. Who wants to risk losing the relationship and wants the potential out in two years? Why? It's always a strong relationship until it is not. What if another company offers a better deal for future CZO products and Symrise feels jilted?  ...more

"There's a significant difference and no shame with promoting a company with a solid and profitable business so it trades at fair value." Ya totally agree, all I am saying is that without concrete proof in the form of a new  PGX product the SP is going nowhere. Despite the Proph's endless enthusiasm Mr Market is not willing to speculate on CZO being a succsess without that proof. . So thats 5 years of opportunity cost while CZO muddled forward went down dead ends and squandered any goodwill the market may have had.  ...more
