Measuring Success

To my mind there is only one arbiter of success of any employee. Are they meeting the goals set out in their employment contract. In the implict contract between CZO managers and the owners of the company the only metric is; Have you supplied me with an accaptable rate of return on my investment? Everything else is noise.
The exact definition of meeting this goal will be diiferent for every investor. To my mind the answer is no you have not. Everybody on this forum agrees that there is potential here or you would not be here. The only point of contention is how to realize it.
Gilles is a below average CEO on any metric you care to name and there is a vast universe of executives who would do a better job delivering the returns we all expect. There is zero downside to sending the board a strong message that we the owners are out of patience with the status quo. Or we can all meet up here in 2024 and try agian.

"Gilles is a below average CEO on any metric you care to name..." That statement lacks any contact with reality. From a ~500% stock return before key catalysts, to having a profitable and growing base business in biotech, to a stream of scientific firsts for the pipeline, to having a multi-product pipeline before strategic catalysts with CZO controlling 100% of the upside CZO is an ...more

90 percent of your post outline the potentail of products that Czo can produce but do not. Your continually are pointing out how gagnon has missed the boat. The last 7 years share prices have decreased by over 300%. The 7 years volumes must most important the number of Czo shares traded on the tsx.v have dropped by a 1000%. Some days more common than not there are not trades.  Product and ...more

As I said, Noise. Show me the money or we find someone who will. Its a harsh criterian but making money is the only reason any of us are in this. CZO first got to 57 cents on Gilles watch in 2014, 9 years ago. Thats enough, almost a decade of zero gains for shareholders and 5 million dollars to the man who made that happen.. No amount "You idiots can just keep waiting"  will play ...more

I am pulling a used prophylatic on this and responding to my own comment, lets not forget that 2021 year stockprice down over 7% for the year. 2022 stockprice down by over 3% for the calendar. In 2 years the stockprice is down by 11%, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR STOCK HOLDERS LATELY gagnon.

Gagnon celebrated theTSXVenture50 'award' that noted an 873% increase in market cap. He is too out to lunch to realize that was impossible!  Brain dead.

boazklinghorn, "CZO first got to 57 cents on Gilles watch in 2014, 9 years ago." CZO started 2014 at $.09. At $.57 CZO's stock is up 533% as of today. The S&P Biotech ETF is only up 95% over the same period. CZO destroyed the S&P Biotech ETF by a stunning 461%. That is an exceptional performance; especially since we are in the worst biotech bear market in history with the ...more

Seriously now, False Prophet has to be on the payroll... they must be Jenene. The amount of time they spend on the board and the amoint of content - and detachment from reality - can only be attributed to someone on the Ceapro payroll.  We should ask for details on the spending. Q1-2023 $5.1MM at least we got that out of them. Tick tock.
