Why should the bar be some random index? If I wanted index level returns I would buy the index. We are here for outsized returns. There are many many examples of companies who have taken interesting tech and inspired visionary leadership to 10 or 20 baggers or more. We are here because we thought we saw that potential in Ceapro. To say "look we havent been as bad as the index" is ...more

"Why should the bar be some random index?" Not random. Performance is generally benchmarked against industry peers. Ideally CZO's performance would be measured against Canadian microcap biotech. Different sectors behave differently at different times so you compare against sector peers. You aim to beat your peers generally. The truth is that we've been in the worst biotech bear ...more

You aim to beat your peers if you are a fund manager. You aim to beat the world if you are visionary leader of a startup company. Gilles is a wet squib as a leader he has an excuse for every failure he lies and covers his asss at ever turn while never missing a paycheck .
