My reason to buy CZO!

CZO is undervalued at 25 cents! I expect that  Q1/24 will be financially positive following this news:
  • From a business perspective, while 2023 was a challenging year due to a reorganization from one major customer in the United States, the company is pleased to announce that this customer has resumed ordering from Ceapro during Q1 2024, with a plus-20-metric-tonne order of avenanthramides.

That helps if the merger doesn't go through at this share price. The bottom line still might not be positive; however, given the costs of the pill trial, the costs of the proposed merger, and simultaneous scale-up of PGX at 5X and 10X; including with Natex. This company has many things on the go now. If the merger goes through other factors will also be at play. At the current price, however, ...more

General Mills: General Mills, a well-known food company, produces a variety of oat-based products under brands like Cheerios and Nature Valley. Given their interest in oats and health-focused offerings, they might be intrigued by the potential preventive antimicrobial properties of this enriched oat flour. Quaker Oats: Quaker Oats, a subsidiary of PepsiCo ...more

Copilot, Antimicrobial Properties: Validation studies have confirmed that oat and sprouted oat extracts containing avenanthramides exhibit antimicrobial activities against Escherichia coli O157:H71. CZO is still a HUGE gamble... This is the first time Gagnon has mentioned anything about sales VOLUME and therefore, we have zero - 0 - context.  It is more than fair to question the motive of Gagnon to shift to volumes on a 1-off basis.  20t could be big from a revenue perspective or, as is most likely the case, it is small and not as big as recent avergage quarter, or even the ...more

"This is the first time Gagnon has mentioned anything about sales VOLUME and therefore, we have zero - 0 - context." The context is that the main client for CZO's base business had gone missing. The volume went to zero. The main client has now come back showing it isn't gone to zero permanently. The main client is still there.

20T order on 300T done on 2022 = 6.67%

300T includes oat oil, beta glucan, and avenanthramide. Oat oil is fairly low margin. Beta glucan is significantly lower than avenanthramide in margin. The 20T order in Q1 was all avenanthramide which is CZO's highest margin product.

Gotta love teamwork! Soooo.... - With 2022 being $18.8 million in sales and assuming 300T in 2022 - 20T = 6.67% of 300T Therefore, we can infer that the equation to get to what 20T represents in revenue is: $18.8 million x 6.67% = $1,250,000 So bascially nothing... CZO's Q1 revenue is nothing relative to 2022 - even the 1st three Qs of 2023!  The new "de-risked" ...more

PBaelish has absolutely no understanding of this.... 300T includes oat oil, beta glucan, and avenanthramide. Oat oil is fairly low margin. Beta glucan is significantly lower than avenanthramide in margin. The 20T order in Q1 was all avenanthramide which is CZO's highest margin product.  PBaelishh

It's a bit better, AV is only 60% of total volume.
