Half a million shares just said that they have absolutely ZERO confidence that the merger will bring value to the new company and many more more and counting

Must be insider(s) thrilled at the merger as their business plan will finally work out now they can tout PGX and put their cash to work. Gilles must be loading up.

Perhaps given how close the vote was for the merger, insiders could be buying shares as a form of insurance for the future. Relatively cheap insurance. Once the merger happens, it'll be harder to buy a large amount of shares in the new company without raising the share price significantly. Will need to see insider trading reports to confirm if they are buying.
