fyi

Bauxite is a laterite. There exist a process that illustrates the conversion of bauxite residual waste to scandium phosphate then to scandium oxide. It is quite the process to seperate the impurities such as iron to get to the phosphate stage before going to oxide when dealing with laterite waste/residual/tailings. Management has stated that HAT is NOT laterite which means less impurities to seperate to get to the phosphate, That mean less expense and better economics in the metallurgy process that DBG has and is developing to obtain the scandium phosphate from the non-laterite tailings/waste. I was able to read about the above mentioned process which involves laterite bauxite and you can see for yourself why the HAT process will be much more economical. You can do the same by requesting it.
