What happened to???

What ever happened with the JV that was to take place? They were given 45 days but I don't ever recall if it went through or not. TIA for a reply

who cares. The base metals are a side-show. And who knows, maybe the diamonds are too. I'm just glad that the management is focusing on the gold - maybe they started off locking for the other resources, but I think they've stumbled upon a huge gold play, and they're very wisely keeping it all to themselves.

I care, as I'm sure others here do also. I agree base metals are a side show. But it takes money to find the gold or diamonds and drill. Money from the JV pays for drilling. Unless you want the float at 500 million shares to fund it, then I guess it doesn't matter.Cheers

from my perspective the nickle has been "farmed out" - assuming the deposit is proved up, DDN will gain some revenue from it, even better, but most importantly, they're not having to shell out $ to drill the base metals and can now focus solely on the gold and the diamonds - they had a successful share offering, not 500 million shares, but enough to fund an enhancing drilling ...more

Romanko..I think what cherrycoke was trying to get accross is some have looked at the company in its whole and want to be kept up to date on its direction etc.There is a lot of companies that talk up one thing or another then just stop talking about and two years later at an AGM  the CEO sluffs off the question stating "we abandaoned that due to costs years ago" etc..As an investor ...more

MMG is still (as of two weeks ago) working under the same LOI. They are still spending the money, but I guess that they want to see if it will be worth their effort to proceed with a major drill program.
