Arcwest relinquished its option on lord nelson just days before Big Ed made his move. Big Ed did extensive diligence on del norte before he optioned it. The technical report decade released on the project attests to that. It is massive and thorough. Yeah he probably explored the del norte lord nelson border area as part of his diligence.
