TRUMP
I stated = You reiterated -
WHAT'S 100 PPM ? .01% per tonne. = TRUE
1,000 kg = 1 tonne
x .01
= 10 kg ( 22 lbs )
= 22/lbs
x $4 / lb copper
= $88 / per each tonne
ppm calculators online all give a vale of.
100 ppm = .01%
Based on the figures above
pull out your calculator and punch in 2200 pounds x .01%
= 22 lbs ( 10 kg )
Now.. is there a flaw with online percentage calculators ?
Maybe so....
let's now scale it up using - 100 ppm
1,000 ppm ~ 100 ppm = 10%
10,000 ppm ~ 100 ppm = 1%
100,000 ppm ~ 100 ppm = .01%
1,000,000 ppm ~ 100 ppm = .001%
if one uses .001% = your numbers are accurate.
If one uses .01% - my number are accurate.
An extra zero has to be added.
In order for the numbers to work.
.01% punched in a claculator = 1/10 of a percent
.001 % 1/100 of a percent.
Here's another online calculator - scroll down approx 1/2 page
punch in 100 ppm - look at the percent value
= .01%
https://www.rapidtables.com/math/number/PPM.html
I'd say...
the online calculators are - muffed.
if we were only using 1 liter or kg example with 100 pmm
one must multiply 100 ppm x 1,000 ( single liters or kg )
to arrive at ( value per ) 1000 kg or 1 tonne.
100 ppm x 1,000 kg's in a tonne
= 100,000 ppm per tonne.
= weak copper
So... my apologies for using a ( muffed up online calculator ) which i took for granted
and it appears another zero - must - be added to arrive at a proper percentage value.
I was wrong.
But... can i blame the online calculator ?
lol
Nah... i'll own up...
i should have worked the ppm into grams, then kilo, then tonne.
Ugh...
Now... i stil lthink the talus ores should be checked more thoroughly.
Probing 3m deep could prove there's stronger copper or zinc - values
I'd still sink a few core holes - just in case.
Guess it's back to the - delpino mountain - and - Lordwonder...
Giggles...
K zone - to - Argo - to - Nelson Creek - letter C
I have a tad more info on this - k zone and argo.
next post...
Cheers...
p.s.
did i ever mention - i detest metric ?
Imperial all the way...lol
