Looking

forward to seeing the Medicall app demonstration tomorrow and what ever else Marshall decides to share with us. With  doctors signing up in the double digits I doubt we need concierge anymore . Screen has been a money maker in a huge way for us so win win .

I doubt I will be able to participate in tomorrow's webinar but could you or someone else here please ask how MediCall plans to protect customers private healthcare information in light of this: https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.theglobeandmail.com/amp/canada/article-newfoundland-cyberattack-an-alarm-bell-for-canada/ , because if it's realively bulletproof like by using Blockchain technology ...more

DM is not handling the health information for Medicall that is done through another company.
Comment by shaker13 on Nov 03, 2021 11:25pm
Which company is handling the data , I never heard this. Thanks for any more insight that can be provided on this.

Don't know, but it was mentioned by Marshall that they're not running the medical record side of things.
Comment by shaker13 on Nov 03, 2021 11:52pm
Well I'd like more info on whoever is overseeing this, cause it's important and if there is any breaches, it will be on DM Its the safety of this data that has delayed the digitization of medical records for decades now. I made the mistake of investing in this sector in 2002 and got hammered because despite the great minds & ideas involved it was just too early. Hackers have proved to ...more

Absolutely agree with you @shaker. The question about data protection is the most important question about Medi-Call app. Only if the are able to protect the most sensitive private data available in a very secure and trustworthy manner, patients will like to use and download the app. Data protection at it's best, ist a definitive must! DM can certainly be involved in the encryption of the data, they are just not the ones maintaining or holding the medical records which is my understanding.
Comment by TorlifTostorson on Nov 04, 2021 3:30am
But if they don't maintain or holding the medical records how they want to apply their AI to the data? But also if they don't apply their AI, data protection is key to user acceptance, beside a well made product with a high userability (but this should be self-evident). JMHO Torlif

Although DM has health-related AI verticals, they are not a healthcare company. As such, they would need to have government approval to maintain and hold people's personal healthcare information.  There would obviously be strict rules and regulations.  I suppose they could go through the long process of getting that approval, but it would delay the release of the MediCall app ...more

Good points @Investor10X. This could really be the case. And if they would need a special approval that take years, it wouldn't be in our investors interest as DM wouldn't be able to generate telehealth revenue. So, if DM is able to manage data security by having an other partner company maintaining and holdig patient records, it would be at least my favorite way to establish the new Medi ...more

Health data security being one of the reasons why I think DM will be looking at selling Medi-Call to health networks.  For those not aware, Canada does not have a national heathcare service, as healthcare is of provincial oversight (i.e. DM needs to ensure it manages health data in accordance with 10 jurisdictions, if they intend to, eventually, have the service implemented nationally). As ...more

Didn't know Canada doesn't have a national healthcare service. Thanks for the info, as it help to understand the roll-out of Medi-Call better. In that way it makes sense to sell Medi-Call to health service providers. Focusing on huge countries could be interesting too, as you @Resilience mentioned Brazil and Nigeria. For all 27 european countries the EU general data pretection directive is ...more

Morning, if someone could ask about the following, that would be great: - Ronin: almost 8-mts and no formal NR since the last announcement to proceed with the technology  - Medicall: when should we see a detailed NR on what was purchased in terms of their previous financials, sales, and etc. - Drone status: will be postponed or dropped - Concierge: why selling while it was supposed ...more

I guess it depends how Marshall words it. If Dr.Sharif is essentially under Screenpro now except advisor to DM but tunneling the profits it will be bad for DM. If they are only dealing the AI side of the app and being paid I dont think that is good. I dont think its outrageous to assume  1) Screenpro SP is dangerously low and DM had no choice but to help them in some ways. In the past ...more
