Added 17,500 shares to TFSA
Well, today my daughter was able to added another handful of DM shares to her Tax free Saving Account (TFSA) - now has just short of 50,000.
Had it been possible, yes, she would have purchased these in the 0.16-0,17 range a short while ago, but timing wasn't right...
At the end of the day, this is a long term placement, so if in a year or so DM's sp sits around $2, that will give her a nice little $100,000. Wouldn't be a bad start for an 18 yr old. Certainly wish I could have done the same at her age ;-)

No worries, she turned 18 in December of 2020, so contributed her first $6,000 on her birthday and now added another $3,000. So she still has a $3,000 contribution runway between now and end-Dec, before being able to contribute another $6,000 effective Jan 1st. In short, no worries to be had :-)

My 18 yr old has 50,000 shares too. My ex owns shares, my girlfriend is loaded up, and my cousin too. When DM shoots, this fam will be very happy! Fingers crossed. GLTA

sell half for $5 and half for either $10( if it reaches there) or $2(if it goes back down)

Great minds meet then because not unlike Reeseman my two younger ones also have shy of 45,000 each in their RESP.. So, I agree that when it pops, DM will make a lot of people happy. GLTA
