In the last discord MG said that the next phase revenue was better than the previous phases, but the follow-on phases were "life changing", so $2.6m for the next is inline with MG's statement. Total contract value is still $40m, the $2.6m is just for the next phase.

No. The $2.6m is for the next stage of the contract (I believe that there are 4 stages, as the quantity in the tender award was "4").  In the last discord session MG said the next stage of the contract was worth more than any previous stage, so the $2.6m is inline with this statement. MG also said that the follow-on stages were "life-changing", so I expect significantly

Agree with your assessment @Percy. It's four phases. Every phase will last for one year and this year Nexalogy will get $2.6m. Next year in the second phase of that $40m project, they will get more, if the are succesful with the first phase in 2022. And so on, until end of 2025 (or rahter end of the fourth phase). Simple, as it worked the same way with IDeaS.

Every phase will not last 1 year! I'm not sure what your source is but you should review the CEO Discord updates on this roll out. This is a very significant validation of DM's abilities in this space with Canada's Department of National Defence. To be identified as the only award recepient related to this limited tender is a big deal.

(Form a programming perspective it's just not possible to realize any relevant milestones, that is $2.6m worth in less than one year, that's why I say it's four year=four phases and overall $40m. I agree with the 4 phases, however we do not have any information that says each phase is 1 year in length.  In previous contracts (earlier phases) the duration was not 1 year for each phase, so I see no reason why the ongoing phases would be 1 year each.  I think it would be more reasonable to assume that each phase will have its own unique duration, based on the amount of work required

You may be right @Percy. One is for sure, it's a great achievement by DM tech team and also DM management. This contract/R&D project is an Ai gamer changer project for DM and the companies growth outlook. Why? Because - as far as I know - DM will be allowed to use the end product to it's own. This means Datametrex get a HUGE competitive advantage over other Ai companies, as DM will get

It is likely the total $40M project is structured around the following 4 phases: 1) Discovery/Proof of Concept/Analysis (5-10%) 2) Design/Develop/Operationalize (25-40%) 3) Scale (20-30%) 4) Enhance (20-30%) Like with many government contracts, if they made the cut to initiate this project, unless due to poor performance, they will likely be awarded each every subsequent phase.
