Globe and Mail DM Coverage
For us who've been calling MG to step up Medi-call marketing, it looks like he's doing it in channels with millions of subscribers. Globe and Mail has 6M subscribers per week. Meaning DM products are getting a potential audience of millions

This is not being put into print though. And I could not find it at all when going through the main site. Highly doubtful it is reaching a broad audience. We need further targeting and broader reach. Facebook, Vancouver newspapers, BNN. I am not a marketing professional but I am guessing getting your company at the top of a Google search would be priority 1

I mean Alberta and Quebec not BC as it was obviously always there

Though Vancouver is Medi-call's Mecca, I think DM is simply creating awareness of it beyond there for it plans to accelerate the rollout. It's positive but as you say GVA need more of the marketting effort

All marketing is paid my friend. Globe&Mail opens DM to a large audience. More eyeballs on Medi-Call, potentially more subscribers. There is nothing wrong with paid marketing when it will help the company grow. This is the norm for companies who are trying to expand and reach different levels they are currently at. This is a good sign for DM.

I think you may want revisit your math. MediCall acquisition and development cost 1000x your amount. It will take years to make the acquisition and development accretive, I assure you.

wow bud....read why don't you...the add cost 3,500 and I think the subscriptions are 500 bucks or so......we all know it will take time to get the 24000 subscriptions needed to pay the cost of it all....I was only talking about the 3500 in advertising.....all things that are bought have a pay back period this is nothing new...I'm hoping it takes 3 years but would be happy with under 5

One thing I agree with you is that more can be and should be done to push medi-call out there, but 3,500 for an audience of more than 5 million readers seems like a good deal for DM.

Don't forget Medi-Call was just executed and launched...we are seeing a roll out but this all takes time.

Various media outlets source their publications through power houses like Globe & Mail. You need their permission/partnership to do so to gain their audience/eyeballs/credible name. No one said the article was written BY globeandmail, the content shows its written from a media partner distributed through globe and mail, not bad promo at all.

Also, a publication sharing news is not bad promo lol, any PR is good PR of spreading news. You're bashing saying bad promo for 0 reason, which is not a good move if you are indeed an investor with $ in this stock...

Personally, I think DM should spend much more on advertising or promotion. EV program in Vancouver needs to hit the radio and local TV stations, global, anything CRTC related would pay massive dividends down the road.
