Do any log term investors have a comment about this....I'm a long!

I would say that it's a good thing that this happened with Telus. We all know the rules and the government's sensitivity towards a two tiered system. Telus may have pushed the boundaries on this one service and their outcome will serve DM as a guideline for how they have to design their own system. The bottom line is that the government, the people, and the health providers all want better ...more

I don't know the intricate details of it but I can say that in BC this issue has been going on for quite some time and continues to go on to this day.  As far as I know it started when Dr. Brian Day opened his private surgical suite.  He ran it for many years while he and the province duked it out in court.   The quasy private system is very much live and well here.  ...more

Wow! if the situation is that serious i think Medicall could take advantage. But they need a serious promotion to reach out the better part of population.Where there's a will, there is a way

I don't believe that MediCall has any customers yet.  When they do start seeing patients and if they continue with their subscription service they will face the same challenges that Telus is facing.

They have staff on the payroll I do think they have something going on.
Comment by Iamapothead on Dec 02, 2022 2:23pm
I'm not saying that they don't have anything going on I'm just saying I don't believe that MediCall has customers.   No MediCall revenue has been reported and Marshall has a propensity for misleading investors.

I believe the next Q will feature the results from Medi and image. Don't know about the customer part but they had a NR that stated they had added some doctors which makes me believe they have subscribers just my thought.

You're right. As of my last guesstimate it was around 12 total as MG eluded to it now being in the double digits. If they incorporate the existing HC professionals with MediCall then we are set up to meet any short to midterm growth in regards to meeting demand. Heck even depending on how aggressive they want to grow we might be set for some time if it's true Imagine has 50 doctors. That ...more

... have you emailed DM and asked them if Medi-Call has paying customers?... Unless you've done that I would recommend you don't stating here as fact that Medi-Call has no paying customers... You are one email away from getting an answer... Not trying to be confrontational... actually trying to give genuine helpful advice... I feel for you due to SCRN SP situation... that hit us both hard, ...more

First things first. They should secure a niche and proceed from there.Facing challenges facing Telus is awesome if they're already profitable

As long as the "muddy waters" don't turn off or make it difficult for users to use it things will be ok....the bigger question which after 17 months we have zero revenue results is can Marshall get er done.....thus far a big fail when it comes to MEDI...let's hope EV has way better results 17 months in
Comment by MUTDMUTD on Dec 02, 2022 7:30am
...this has no effect on Medi-Call nor on the planned expansion of Imagine Health in Vancouver as long as Datametrex does not charge additional fees for services that are to be provided under BC's health plan/laws as that would be illegal... DM does not, to my knowledge, partake in illegal billing practices nor illegal activities... kind of a bad business practice to do so in Canada...SO THIS ...more
