DMEVS Pilot

This is a great initiative by DM EVs to provide a mobile EV charging service in Metro Vancouver.
The Level 2 charging stations on the truck should be able to charge most EVs in a reasonable amount of time, and the fact that the service is being offered for free as part of a promotional campaign is sure to attract many EV drivers.

The trucks don't fully charge the vechicle. They give you about 100km. Do you follow what you're invested in?

Say anything positive about Datametrex and it becomes troll bait. They claim to be investors but go out of their way to make negative posts. Keep throwing bait at them. Its fun seeing how creative they can get with the BS

Go to DMEVS website. Look up road side service. I was too generous with 100km, the mobile trucks give you about 50km. All factual information provided by the company. No need to get creative... maybe do some DD.

I know that this may be hard for you to understand. Many folks have CAA or AAA and if you run out of gasoline they will come and give you enough fuel to get you mobile. A jerry can, not a tank of fuel. This is no different other than that they are bringing enough of a charge to get you mobile. What you do after that is up to you.

CAA will tow my Tesla, if needed, to a charger anywhere in Canada.  This DMEV concept is only available in great Vancouver where there are numerous existing CHPT stations already.   If you have range anxiety in Vancouver, nothing can help you.  Help me understand their business proposition.

In Vancouver, there is an ongoing push to increase the number of electric vehicles on the road, with a target of 30% of all vehicles being electric by 2030. However, despite this goal, there is still a significant lack of EV charging infrastructure, which is a major obstacle for many people considering electric vehicles.

It will be easy for them to fill the 30 slots they have since it's free service. DM should make sure they deliver quality to retain this 30 drivers as the first clients.

Where did you learn that a level 2 charger is on the mobile unit. That's a pretty slow rate of charge. It's likely a much faster charge rate than the limits of a level 2 charger.

I said "only a small number of DC fast chargers being considered along with the DC truck chargers for emergency charging.". DC is level 3 and that's what is on the trucks. I'm not sure where you think I said they were level 2.
