Orders vs. Booked Revenue
For DMEVS it would appear that a significant part of the attraction for customers is the high percentage of the project that will be covered by various Government grants. We all know how slow the Government is to pay (recently took me nearly 3 months to collect on a home energy improvement grant.). So, I'll be looking much more at the number and size of contracts signed rather than the booked revenue. In fact DMEVS might be fronting their own money to build these installations until the government pays up. So, for DMEVS I expect and will be happy with low revenue, no profit, decreased money in the bank, BUT, lots of signed business.

Having signed contracts is great as they provide a solid foundation for business relationships and give a sense of security. However, investors get truly excited when they see revenue coming in, as it shows that the company is generating income. My greater focus will be on the booked revenue .
