OSC Policy - Handling Rumors what do we think

According to OSC i dont think DM is required to respond to ridiculous rumours such as it is being sued for fraud as Jack Marks has stated. If DM doesnt make a statement i assume it is because of the below policy.

OSC Policy Handling Rumours
Unofficial Consolidation: National Policy 51-201 Disclosure Standards | OSC

Handling Rumours:

6.13       Adopt a "no comment" policy with respect to market rumours and make sure that the policy is applied consistently.[46] Otherwise, an inconsistent response may be interpreted as "tipping". You may be required by your exchange to make a clarifying statement where trading in your company's securities appears to be heavily influenced by rumours. If material information has been leaked and appears to be affecting trading activity in your company's securities, you should take immediate steps to ensure that a full public announcement is made. This includes contacting your exchange and asking that trading be halted pending the issuance of a news release.[47]

I agree that DM should not respond to WSR; any response will reduce them to his level of pettyness. Jack seems to thrive on negativity and pettiness, so responding only gives him the attention he craves. By not responding, DM can maintain their integrity and show that they are above such petty behaviour.
